In 2008 Brian and I participated in a community-supported agriculture (CSA) program from Misty Meadows Farm. Each week we received a share of freshly picked, sustainably grown produce (it’s organic too, just not certified) and chronicled our experiences as we learned how to cook with what nature offers. I alternated between FoodConnect.com, and here.
We’ve include recipes and ideas for how a couple of city-dwelling foodies can get back to eating like we did before we followed the seasons of Kroger.

Update: we’ve signed on for 2009 as well.

Dear Dana:
I’m this newspaper’s food editor and for a package on CSAs that we’re working on, the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture kindly sent us some links to photos submitted in the online competition last year. The best ones are yours on this flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/travelingmcmahans/collections/72157605583338245/
I wonder if we could get your permission to reproduce some of them, with proper credit of course.
Best, Bob
